According to MSV Foot on Twitter, Leverkusen have had a proposal for 20-year-old Evann Guessand from Nice. He plays as a centre forward and spent last season on loan at Lausanne in Switzerland where he scored 7 and assisted 5 in 35 games. Given his low market value of just €2m, it is possible he would have been signed to act as 3rd choice, replacing Pohjanpalo who is not in Seoane's plans. However given that this story has not been broken by any renowned journalists, it is probably a duck.

Wendell should be moving to Porto very shortly, reports TSF Radio in Portugal. Although Wendell was present at team training today, his agent has apparently been in Porto since Monday negotiating a deal. Wendell was not their first choice, rather Emerson Palmieri of Chelsea but he was too expensive. It was long claimed that Leverkusen were holding out for a fee of €5m - €6m for the player but the actual fee is considerably less, in the 3-4 million range. Losing Wendell would be massive for the club. Not in the sense that he is one of our best players but in that he is an excellent character. The dressing room might suddenly become quite a bit quieter...
