Eduard Spertsyan according to 'V News', via Armenie Football on Twitter, should interest a number of Bundesliga clubs, but Bayer Leverkusen, along with Schalke, should be 'seriously busy' in their attempts to sign the Armenian creative midfielder who currently plays for Krasnodar. However the Russian club is said to want to keep the 22-year-old, valued at €6m on Transfermarkt for one more season or release him to 'a big European club'.
Another rumour from left field, this time concerning KRC Genk's Paul Onuachu. A source close to the club told Nigerian news site Punch Sports Extra that a long list of teams, including Atletico Madrid, Wolves, Lazio and Bayer 04 are looking to secure his services. The 2.01m tall centre forward, is free to leave the Belgian side but is valued highly at €18m. Given how well staffed we are up front, clearly evidenced in Iker Bravo's sensational hattrick yesterday against Duisburg, combined with the fact that the 19-goal striker wants a move to either England or Spain, it is safe to assume we have no need for him.
L'Equipe reports that OGC Nice left-back Melvin Bard has aroused the interest of the Werkself. The 21-year-old France U21 international, described as a 'modern day fullback.. technical fast and disciplined' by the Ligue 1 website, played 37 game last season for the Cote D'Azur outfit, a permanent fixture on the left flank in just his second season as a professional player. No further developments are expected until one of Mitchel Bakker or Sinkgraven departs, however he should definitely be a name to look out for in the coming weeks.
